About Me
💫 Hi, I’m Kiera!
Birth Attendant • Yoga Teacher • Integrative Nutrition & Life Coach • Energy Worker
Mom of 7 • New Grandma
I became a mother at 18, and with each birth, I learned something profound: trusting my instincts and having a supportive circle were essential to both my healing and my baby’s wellbeing.
After a traumatic second birth where I felt unheard—and saw how it affected my baby—I knew things had to change. My third birth was a healing hypnobabies experience in the hospital, and it opened my eyes to the transformative power of being truly supported during birth.
I became a doula to walk with other women on this path. Over time, I studied midwifery and had empowering water births at home with my fourth and fifth babies. With my sixth, I planned a homebirth, but my intuition told me something was off. She was presenting face-first, and I chose a cesarean section. It was emotional—but it was also empowered. I was heard. My birth plan was respected. And that changed everything.
I realized how rare it is for birthing people to feel truly seen and supported—and how essential it is for healing, autonomy, and long-term wellbeing.
